Welcome to Xi's portfolio

My name is Xi Jiang, and you can also call me Josie. I am originally from China and currently based in Atlanta,  where I recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Master’s degree in Luxury & Brand  Management.

Before coming to the U.S.,  I spent several years living and studying in Shanghai. That experience shaped me in many ways. Being surrounded by a fast-moving fashion environment and a strong visual culture made me more aware of how design, branding,  and lifestyle are connected. It was also what led me to choose luxury and brand management as my field of study.

During my time at SCAD, I was exposed to different aspects of the industry through courses like Advertising Luxury,  Global Distribution, and Visual Communication. Over time,  I realized that I am especially drawn to the experiential side of branding—how a brand can be felt in physical space,  not just seen online. Many of my projects naturally developed in this direction, focusing on pop-ups,  flagship store concepts, and customer experience design.

Growing up with an Asian background and traveling to several fashion-focused cities across Asia also shaped how I see branding. I began to understand that marketing is not only about storytelling, but about creating real,  offline experiences that truly reflect a brand’s core identity. This is something I pay close attention to,  and it continues to influence the way I think and design.

I also started learning to draw at a young age. Although I didn’t continue it formally, it gave me a strong sense of visual balance and aesthetics. At SCAD,  my professors often mentioned that my projects show a consistent personal style,  especially in layout and visual presentation. I see this as something that naturally carries through all of my work.

Outside of school, I enjoy visiting exhibitions, pop-ups,  and different retail spaces whenever I travel. These experiences continue to inspire me and help me understand how brands connect with people in real life.

I am currently looking for opportunities in luxury brand strategy, experiential retail, and marketing,  where I can keep exploring the relationship between brand, space, and consumer experience.
